Wolfsburg are interested in signing Manchester United defender Luke Shaw, according to the Daily Mail.
Luke Shaw has been linked away from United after failing to make the first team regularly last season but the player has revealed that he wants to stay at Old Trafford and fight for a new contract.
Shaw, who was signed from Southampton in the summer of 2014, is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford. United may just be happy to have a committed Luke Shaw as they currently have a defensive crisis with Antonio Valencia injured and Matteo Darmian close to an exit.
According to reports, the United hierarchy is not willing to sign anymore defender as they believe they already have enough. This is reportedly contrary to what Jose Mourinho wants as he is said to want more in that area.
United are currently in the US and will be hoping for a good outing when they face Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday morning.
