Belgium international Thibaut Courtois has highlighted that he won't be extending his Chelsea contract beyond the 2018/19 season.
Courtois has been in a contract standoff over the past year and it now appears that he could be heading through the exit door before the transfer deadline.
According to The Sun, the shot-stopper has once again snubbed a Blues extension and the club may consider sale with Real Madrid among the main contenders for his signature.
Nevertheless, Chelsea are yet to recruit a goalkeeping replacement for Courtois and they could be forced to keep him until January at the least, should a breakthrough not be found.
Everton's Jordan Pickford and Stoke City's Jack Butland have been picked as the main candidates to replace Courtois but so far, the Blues have not made a formal approach for either.
Courtois has been with the west London giants for the past seven seasons, making his first-team debut for them during the 2014/15 campaign. He has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup with the Blues to date.
