Arsenal forward Lucas Perez is reportedly close to making the switch to Fiorentina before this month's transfer deadline.
The 29-year-old was involved during the early stages of the Gunners' pre-season campaign but it now appears that the Spaniard has made his mind up to leave the north London club.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Gunners are said to have agreed terms over a £7m deal with Fiorentina, thereby taking a £10m hit on the former Deportivo man.
It is added that the attacker will now travel to Florence to undergo a series of medical tests before finalising a four-year contract with Stefano Pioli's team.
Aside from Perez, the likes of Joel Campbell and Carl Jenkinson are expected to part ways with the Gunners after being left out of the recent squad for the International Champions Cup.
Arsenal have one more pre-season friendly against Lazio this weekend before they prepare themselves for their Premier League opener against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
