Manchester United agree personal terms with Barcelona defender

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Barcelona defender Yerry Mina ahead of a possible move to the Theatre of Dreams, Mundo Deportivo reports.

  • With that agreed, the Colombian international is just waiting for Manchester United and Barcelona to agree a transfer fee.

Barcelona reportedly want £35m for the former Palmeiras player, a price that is a little over half of what Leicester City want for Harry Maguire.

With the deal for Mina nearing its conclusion, it is not out of place to say that the move for Maguire is all but over.

Manchester United have been looking for a central defender all summer and the 23-year-old provides them the opportunity to have one that could play for many years if he is able to demonstrate the form that made fans and pundits praise him at the World Cup in Russia.

Mina did great at the Mundial, scoring three goals for Colombia, including the dying minute equaliser against England in the second round.
