Chelsea are reportedly plotting an approach to sign AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma with Thibaut Courtois seemingly keen on a summer exit.
Courtois has been heavily linked with a Real Madrid move in recent weeks and his agent has added fuel to the speculation by admitting the 26-year-old could move on.
According to Don Balon, the Blues remain reluctant to sell Courtois until they find a suitable successor and Donnarumma has now emerged as their prime goalkeeping target.
It is added that the move may involve a transfer triangle with Real Madrid shot-stopper Keylor Navas possibly heading to San Siro before this month's deadline.
The Blues have witnessed a relatively quiet summer transfer window and so far, they have pursued just two recruits in the form of Jorginho and Rob Green.
Despite this, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has shown his satisfaction regarding the business and he is supposedly eyeing one more signing before the transfer window concludes next week.
