Bayern Munich attacker Robert Lewandowski has decided to remain at the Bundesliga champions ahead of the upcoming season, Bild reports.

  • The Poland international has been linked with a move away from Bayern with Real Madrid and Chelsea linked.

    The German club are unwilling to sell the player no matter the amount, and the boss Niko Kovac recently confirmed that they are not going to relinquish their number one hitman.

    According to reports, Lewandowski was interested in a move to Manchester United if he could receive a weekly wage of £500k.

    After scoring 92 goals for Borussia Dortmund, Lewandowski has scored 134 times for Bayern since his move to the champions of Germany in 2014.

    Bayern will be heading into the new season hoping to retain the league and and do very well in Europe with the help of Lewandowski.

    The Bavarians have also received a boost in central defence with report indicating that Jerome Boateng will not be joining Manchester United this summer.
