Chelsea are being linked with a move for Blackburn midfielder David Bentley in several media sources on Sunday morning. Mark Hughes is keen to offer the midfielder a new deal, but Bentley could be tempted away by Chelsea's millions.

Chelsea and Avram Grant are known admirers of the young England international midfielder, with the club in the process of preparing a £12 million offer for the former Arsenal man.



Bentley has a known history of being a football who 'knows what he wants', after he demanded a move from the Gunners due to lack of first team football.



Chelsea, too, have a knack of unsettling players, and Bentley could be heading for Stamford Bridge sometime in summer.
