Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly shown the eagerness to takeover the reigns from Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
Mourinho has come under tremendous pressure after back-to-back losses for the Red Devils and another negative result at Burnley this weekend may seriously put his position under threat.
Amidst this, The Mirror claims that Zidane is 'very interested' in succeeding Mourinho at Old Trafford and the Frenchman believes he can bring the sense of stability within the current squad.
It is added that the former World Cup winner is pleased with the financial backing provided to Jose Mourinho and his predecessor Louis van Gaal - something which he did not receive with ex-club Real Madrid.
Manchester United have made their worst start to a new league campaign since the 1992/93 season and they are presently in the lower half of the standings with just three points from as many matches.
