Chelsea have reportedly informed their European rivals that it would take at least £54m to prise away Marcos Alonso from their clutches in the future.
The Spaniard has been with the Blues since the summer of 2016 and during this period, he has racked 15 goals in 88 appearances from the left side of the defence.
Despite this, Alonso is said to favour a return to Real Madrid at some stage in the future and this has urged the Blues to place a price tag on the defender's head.
According to Tuttosport, the Blues are unlikely to entertain his sale at this stage of the summer but they are open to his future exit, should any side match their £54m valuation.
Alonso has started the new season in a bright fashion and he has already contributed a goal and an assist from the first three games of the Premier League campaign.
