Paul Pogba makes Manchester United transfer claim

Pogba hints at future United exit

Paul Pogba makes Manchester United transfer claim

06 September 2018 - 17:31

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has refused to rule out a potential move from Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The France international was heavily linked with Barcelona during the recent transfer window but a deal did not materialise with United not keen on his exit.

Nonetheless, the speculation has continued to link the Frenchman with a possible departure and he has now hinted that could be the case in the near future.

"I'm under contract in Manchester," Pogba told Sky Sports Germany. "My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract, I'm playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months."

Pogba has witnessed a difficult relationship with Jose Mourinho over the past year and he has previously admitted that he could not express his situation in the fear of being fined.

He has netted two goals from just three Premier League matches this term but both have come from the penalty spot. He has still received plenty of criticism for his ineffectivity in open play.
