Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be without both Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris for this weekend's Premier League showdown against Liverpool.
Spurs suffered a surprise defeat to Watford before the international break and they will be aiming to bounce back with the visit of Jurgen Klopp's side on Saturday.
However, speaking ahead of the game, Pochettino has confirmed that both Alli and Lloris are sidelined after sustaining a hamstring and thigh injury respectively.
Alli suffered the minor damage during the Nations League game against Spain earlier this month and Pochettino has revealed that the injury should keep him out of the Reds game as well as the Champions League opener versus Inter.
On the other hand, Lloris return from a thigh problem has been delayed and he is expected to undergo another scan to determine the extent of the current injury.
Tottenham have secured nine points from their first four games of the new Premier League season and this sees them occupy the fifth position in the standings.
