Spanish champions Barcelona are still said to be holding an interest in signing midfielder Ander Herrera from Manchester United at the end of the season.
The Spain international was linked with a probable switch to the Camp Nou during the summer but the move did not materialise after United refused to sanction his sale.
Herrera has since started a single Premier League game for United but The Sun reports that Barcelona are still keen on reuniting him with former Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde.
It is further added that the 29-year-old has no plans of leaving United for the moment but he is growing increasingly frustrated amid the lack of progress in terms of his contract.
Herrera, who has made over 160 appearances for United, presently has just 10 months left on his contract which was extended earlier in January - by virtue of a clause written into his existing deal.
