German champions Bayern Munich are reportedly said to be leading the race to appoint reported Manchester United target Zinedine Zidane as their next head coach.

  • Chelsea eyeing part-exchange deal to sign Osimhen
  • Chelsea & Arsenal handed blow in Bundesliga striker pursuit

  • Zidane guided Real Madrid to their third straight Champions League crown last season but he thereafter handed in a resignation amid concerns regarding the transfer policy at the club.

Since then, the Frenchman has been regular linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United but according to RMC Sport, Bayern are now said to be leading the hunt to pursue the 46-year-old.

Niko Kovac is currently under immense pressure with Bayern having gone without a victory in four successive matches and it is suggested that the board may consider a change, should the poor run of form extend.

Bayern have made their worst-ever start to a league season in eight years this term and they are currently placed sixth on the table with a four-point gap to pace-setters Borussia Dortmund.
