Liverpool defender Joel Matip could reportedly be the subject of interest from both Fenerbahce and Fulham when the transfer window reopens in a couple of months' time.
The Cameroonian joined the Reds on a free transfer from Schalke in the summer of 2016 and he has since gone on to make 64 appearances across all competitions.
Despite this, the centre-back has struggled for gametime this term with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren ahead of him in the pecking order and this seems to have invited speculation regarding his future.
According to Turkish outlet A Spor, the former Schalke 04 ace could be offered an escape route from Anfield in the New Year with Fulham and Fenerbahce vying for his signature.
Fener are understood to have earmarked Matip as a probable target since the summer but they are likely to face stiff competition from Fulham with Claudio Ranieri fancied to bolster the backline.
Ranieri was recently appointed the new head coach of Fulham and he is likely to add fresh faces to the backline which has proved the club's downfall since their top-flight return.
Fulham are currently rockbottom of the Premier League with just five points on the board. They are also winless in their last seven matches across all competitions.
