Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has reportedly been deemed doubtful for the midweek Champions League encounter against Paris Saint-Germain.
Mane has been in fine form for the Reds this campaign and he has already contributed seven goals for the club across all competitions.
Despite this, his involvement against Les Parisiens is far from confirmed with Evening Standard suggesting that the Senegalese is struggling with an illness which will be assessed before the game.
The Reds are currently just one point ahead of third-placed Paris Saint-Germain in the standings and the game could be crucial to their prospects of making the knockout phase.
Meanwhile, Les Parisiens also have injury concerns of their own with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe but manager Thomas Tuchel has recently suggested that the duo should return in time for the Reds meeting.
Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League standings following a comfortable 3-0 win over Watford on the road. They are presently two points adrift of table-toppers Manchester City.
