The Spanish international striker has hinted that he would like to move on and find a better club at the end of the season.
David Villa, rated as one of the best strikers in the world, had been linked with a move to several high-profile clubs in Spain, Italy and England.
He scored 25 goals in the last season for Valencia and had build a great partnership with fellow striker and former Real Madrid man Fernando Morientes.
The 26-year old did not enjoy a good season at the Mestalla under Ronald Koeman and has suggested that he might move in the summer. "I have always listened when there have been offers and I am still determined to do what is best for my career, but of course with the consent of the club as I have a contract," he said.
He made it clear by saying that he have to think about his future.
