Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has reportedly moved closer to sealing a potential move to Juventus after undergoing a series of medical tests with the Serie A side.

The Wales international has just six months remaining on his contract with the Gunners and he has already been told by the hierarchy that a renewal is out of the cards.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ramsey could now be edging closer to joining the Bianconeri after having a medical in a secret location in the English capital.

It is added that the midfielder will have to undergo further medical examination in Turin at a later date before he can officially put pen-to-paper on a contract which should become active from the summer.

Ramsey is likely to receive wages of around £140,000-a-week with the Turin giants next season and that would make him the second-highest earner at the club, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo.
