Hudson-Odoi to stay put until the summer

Chelsea make transfer decision on Callum Hudson-Odoi

29 January 2019 - 06:43

Chelsea have reportedly rebuffed the opportunity to sanction Callum Hudson-Odoi's sale this month despite the strong interest from Bayern Munich.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The teenager has been the subject of three failed bids from the Bavarian giants in the transfer window with their latest being around £35m.

Amidst this, the 18-year-old has handed in a transfer request to push through a transfer but that may not necessarily tempt the Blues to offload him before the end of the month.

According to The Mirror, the west London side have made it clear that they won't permit the attacker's sale before the transfer deadline and any interest may only be considered when the season comes to a close.

Bayern are prepared to make a fourth offer worth £40m before deadline day but the Blues are likely to reject the advances despite the youngster entering the final year of his contract during the summer.

Hudson-Odoi recently scored for the Blues during the FA Cup fourth round triumph over Sheffield Wednesday but he is expected to drop to the bench for the league clash against Bournemouth.
