Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Barcelona regarding a shock move for Luis Suarez during this summer's transfer window.
The forward has been a key contributor for the Blaugrana over the past four-and-a-half years but there have been concerns regarding his showing of late with just two goals in the past 10 games.
This has spread speculation over his future with the Catalans and according to Diario Gol, United have already made initial contact with the Spanish champions over a possible summer deal.
It is added that the La Liga holders could be prepared to sanction his sale during the summer, although Suarez may snub the advances of United owing to his former association with fierce rivals Liverpool.
United are likely to consider the future of Romelu Lukaku beyond the current campaign amid his inconsistent form upfront. Inter Milan are understood to be planning an approach for the former Everton ace.
