Tottenham chase Jesus Navas

Tottenham chase Jesus Navas

20 March 2008 - 00:35

Tottenham are considering a move for Sevilla midfielder Jesus Navas. Juande Ramos knows the player very well from his time coaching Sevilla, and Navas is regarded as one of the best young players in la Liga.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
  • Now Juande Ramos is ready to make a huge offer for the Spaniard, estimated to be in the region of around £12 million.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also a known admirer of the player - and even attempted to sign him before - but Ramos' connections with his former club are likely to help him in his quest to snap up the player.

Tottenham may have trouble attempting the lure the midfielder to England however, as the 22 year old is known to suffer from homesickness which may scupper any move for the playmaker.
