Manchester United are reportedly making progress towards the potential sale of Alexis Sanchez amid interest from the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan.
The Chile international has been a huge disappointment since his move from Arsenal in January 2018 and he has contributed just five goals for the club across all competitions.
According to The Independent, the Red Devils are facing a battle to get Sanchez off their wage bill but they have received some positive news with both Juventus and Inter Milan keen on signing him.
Still, the Red Devils may have to pay off Sanchez for at least one year of his £500,000-a-week contract, considering he would have to accept a wage cut to seal his return to the Serie A.
Sanchez has managed just 11 starts in the Premier League and Champions League combined this term, while netting the solitary goal in the 3-2 comeback triumph over Newcastle United.
