Gasbarroni linked with Fulham

24 August 2007 - 18:37

Andrea Gasbarroni is being linked with a move to Fulham. The player spent last season on loan at Parma from Juventus. Juventus have just returned to Serie A and there is no indication that Andrea Gasbarroni is in Claudio Ranieri's plans.

  • Chelsea suffer big injury blow ahead of Everton game
  • Enzo Fernandez refuses to rule out Chelsea exit
  • Palermo and Juventus both own 50 per cent stakes in the player's contract, and he has spent the last couple of seasons on loan. At Sampdoria, the player was one of the better players and last year he was underused at Parma.

Walter Novellino commented on the player last year, “He can attack the space behind defenders and works back to cover. To my mind he is already a complete player and ready for the national team, I have no doubt about it.”

The player will cost Lawrie Sanchez £2.5m should he decide to bring the Italian to the club.
