Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan is considering making a summer move for Tottenham defender Michael Dawson. Apparently, Juande Ramos has decided that Dawson is his fourth choice central defender.
Ramos considers that Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate is his first choice pairing, with Younes Kaboul as his third choice.
Now, Newcastle are ready to make a shock £6 million summer move for Dawson.
Newcastle's defensive record has been appalling this season, and Kevin Keegan sees the former Nottingham Forest defender as the answer to his problems.
Dawson himself is also keen to make a move elsewhere, as he battles to make the international forefront for England.
