According to multiple reports across Spain, Eden Hazard looks set to join Real Madrid from Chelsea this summer after the two clubs agreed on a fee for the player. It is understood that Chelsea have accepted an offer of 100 million euros for Hazard, with a further 20 million in additional fees should Real win La Liga next season.

  • Hazard has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid where he would link up again with former Chelsea team mate and Belgium international compatriot Thibaut Courtois. After a disappointing season last season, Real Madrid are looking to rebuild and sign new players and it has been decided that Hazard is the perfect player to sign for their grand renewal project.

The Blues will receive 100 million euros for Hazard, of which the full fee will be spent to sign a replacement player.

It is understood that Hazard has already told his agent to agree a contract by the end of June.

Hazard said after the Blues' Europa League triumph that it was likely he would leave the club, and this summer it looks very likely he will be the first major transfer of the window.
