Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly received an encouragement in the bid to secure the services of Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

  • Chelsea set six-day deadline to land Croatian midfielder
  • Manchester United set to confirm £45m deal for Premier League ace

  • Zidane is known to be a huge admirer of the talents of Pogba but recent reports have suggested that club president Florentino Perez does not favour an approach for the World Cup winner.

However, a fresh update from The Mirror says that the French boss has finalising managed to convince Perez over a move for Pogba and an approach could be made at some stage of the current transfer window.

Los Blancos have been very active in the transfer market this summer and they have already landed four players including Eden Hazard for an estimated spending spree of more than £220m.

The spending is likely to continue with Zidane still eyeing a couple of players including a central midfielder to bolster the squad ahead of the challenge for domestic and European honours next term.
