France international Paul Pogba has acknowledged that it could be the right time to pursue a fresh challenge away from Manchester United.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The midfielder has been with the Red Devils for the past three seasons and last campaign was his best for the club as he contributed 16 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.

Despite this, there has been continued speculation regarding his future at the club and speaking to reporters in Tokyo, he has admitted that a fresh transfer could be on the cards.

"After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well, I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else," he said.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer and reports have emerged that Los Blancos could be prepared to pay a club-record fee to land his signature.
