Juventus have retracted an offer made to sign Man Utd midfielder Paul Pogba, instead focusing on signing other targets. New manager Sarri has indicated that Pogba is not one of his top transfer priorities and instead the club will look to sign defensive players this summer.

  • Pogba had been linked with a 150 million euro return to Turin, but Manchester United have now hinted that a deal could be off, as they look to persuade Frenchman Pogba to stay at Old Trafford.

Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri is chasing Mathias De Ligt and is prepared to spend most of his transfer budget to sign the Ajax starlet, leaving a deal to sign Pogba on the ropes.

Pogba has informed his agent that he would like to move club and both Real Madrid and Barcelona are amongst the teams interested in signing the France World Cup winning midfielder.

Pogba has three years remaining on his contract at United, and coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping he can persuade the midfielder to stay put.
