Turkish giants Fenerbahce have indicated that they have no ambition of pursuing Mesut Ozil from Arsenal during this summer's transfer window.
A recent report from Haberturk claimed that the Istanbul giants could secure a season-long loan agreement for the German this summer whereby they would be willing to pay part of the midfielder's £350,000-a-week wages.
However, this story has been dismissed by Fenerbahce, who have released a statement saying: "Fenerbahce have no intention of transferring in Mesut Ozil. The transfer is not possible for either the club or Mesut Ozil under the current economic conditions."
Ozil has previously indicated that he has no plans of leaving the Gunners this summer and he is prepared to honour the remaining two years of his contract with the club.
Despite this, there have continued to be doubts surrounding his career with the north Londoners with manager Unai Emery keen on offloading him on a temporary basis at the least to free up wages.
