Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly earmarked Dani Alves as a potential transfer target for this summer's transfer window.
The right-sided defender is a free agent after being released by Paris Saint-Germain last month and he is said to be eyeing a fresh challenge in a new league.
According to AS, Alves has plenty of offers to continue his career in Europe and both Arsenal and Spurs could entice to consider a potential move to the Premier League this summer.
Still, the Copa America winner would command a sizeable wage package to make the move and reports suggest that the Gunners may have the edge over Spurs, given their desperation to strengthen the right-back position.
Arsenal will be without Hector Bellerin with an ankle problem for the opening months of the new Premier League season and this has left them with just Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Carl Jenkinson for the right-back role.
Among the duo, Maitland-Niles was the constant choice during the backend of the previous season but the young Englishman struggled to find the consistency, given he is a central midfielder by trade.
