Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, provided they are prepared to include Paul Pogba in a player-plus-cash.
Both Pogba and Neymar are believed to be eyeing fresh challenges away from United and Paris Saint-Germain respectively but neither have got their wish to date.
According to The Independent, Les Parisiens are understood to have approached United regarding a potential deal where they can pursue Pogba in exchange for Neymar.
However, the Red Devils are understood to hold no interest in signing the Brazil international, given the additional finances involved in bringing Neymar to Old Trafford.
Neymar had been much fancied to join Barcelona at the beginning of the summer transfer window but of late, the likes of Real Madrid have also emerged as potential candidates.
Los Blancos are aiming to offload Gareth Bale from their ranks this summer and there are reports claiming that the Welshman could be used as a makeweight to land Neymar.
