Harry Maguire is reportedly far off from making the switch to Manchester United from Leicester City contrary to the reports earlier in the media.
A recent report from Independent claimed that the Red Devils had agreed on a record £80m defender fee to sign Maguire and the transfer could be finalised before the end of the month.
However, a fresh story from Leicestershire Live has indicated that discussions are still ongoing between the teams and Maguire will not seek to force through an exit from the Foxes.
Brendan Rodgers' side are understood to want a fee in the region of £90m for the central defender and reports indicate that the club are refusing to budge on the asking price.
Maguire is currently with the east Midlands outfit for their pre-season duties and it is suggested that he would continue to remain committed to the club unless they can reach a transfer agreement with the Red Devils.
