Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez is reportedly on the cusp of making the move to Inter Milan on a season-long loan with the option to buy next summer.
The Chile international has been unsuccessful in the past 19 months with the Red Devils and he has bagged just five goals from 45 appearances across all competitions.
United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently indicated that Sanchez has a future with the club but Sky Italy's Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that he is possibly on the verge of joining the Nerazzurri.
Sanchez has been backed to join the Nerazzurri on loan for the current campaign with the option to buy for around £13.2m, though the final decision is expected to be made by the Red Devils board.
The 30-year-old has just returned to individual training following a hamstring problem but he is expected to become match fit by the beginning of September, as per Solskjaer.Â
