Juventus have reportedly registered an interest in pursuing the services of goalkeeper David de Gea from Manchester United next summer.
The Spain international has just 11 months remaining on his current deal with the Red Devils and he has given no indication that he would be prepared to sign an extension.
As a result, they face the prospect of losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season and The Express claims that the Bianconeri are prepared to offer him a fresh challenge in the Serie A.
The Italian champions have a history of recruiting high-profile names on free transfers and they have brought in the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot in the recent transfer window.
United have made an average start to the season with just five points from the opening four league games and De Gea has received some criticism for some of the goals conceded.
De Gea's form at the club level has dropped him behind Kepa Arrizabalaga for the goalkeeping role with Spain. He was an unused substitute during the recent 2-1 triumph over Romania.
