Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Antonio Rudiger, Pedro and Mateo Kovacic are in contention for the forthcoming Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the road.
Rudiger has not featured for the Blues since the beginning of the campaign as he has been stepping up his fitness following a serious knee injury sustained during the backend of the previous season.
On the other hand, Pedro and Kovacic have recently been sidelined with hamstring and Achilles concerns respectively but they seem to have recovered ahead of the forthcoming Wolves encounter.
Speaking in a press conference, Lampard has now confirmed that Rudiger is fit to make his maiden appearance of the season and he is looking forward to the German's leadership at the back.
He added that both Pedro and Kovacic have likewise recovered from their respective injuries, though N'Golo Kante continues to remain in the treatment room at the moment.
Kante has been struggling with an ankle sprain since the middle of the previous month and Lampard has admitted that the Frenchman may require more time to recuperate from the injury setback.
