Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to be without six first-team players for the forthcoming Europa League opener against Astana at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils had to deal with the absence of key players such as Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial last weekend but they still managed to secure a 1-0 win over Leicester City in their home turf.
The Mancunian giants are now scheduled to face Astana in their first game of the Europa League campaign and it seems Solskjaer may not receive a significant boost on the injury front.
According to Football.London, Martial and Pogba are unlikely to recover from thigh and ankle injuries respectively and the weekend's league game at West Ham United could be a possible date for return.
Elsewhere, Luke Shaw remains sidelined with a hamstring concern for the rest of the month while Eric Bailly, Diogo Dalot and Timothy Fosu-Mensah remain long-term absentees.Â
