Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic is keen on making the move to the Premier League this winter with Manchester United still said to hold an interest in his services.

  • The Croatian footballer was heavily touted to join the Red Devils to replace the departed Romelu Lukaku last summer but a deal did not materialise after the club were put off by the Bianconeri's £14m price tag.

The 33-year-old has since been sidelined from first-team action under  manager Maurizio Sarri and it appears that he has no future with the Italian champions.

According to Tuttosport, the experienced marksman has the chance of heading to a Qatar-based club before the end of the month but he is likely to snub the advances.

It is added that he is leaning towards a winter move to the Premier League instead with United said to be considering a renewed approach after their struggles upfront this season.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have already suffered injuries this term but the latter has been fancied to make a comeback against Rochdale in midweek.
