Sagna out for 3 weeks

Sagna out for 3 weeks

27 March 2008 - 21:25

Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna will be missing from the first-team for up to three weeks after picking up an injury against Chelsea on Sunday. The Frenchman scored the goal that put the Gunners in front.

  • Chelsea striker out for three weeks with knee problem
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Brentford, Welbeck starts
  • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: "The first news that we have is that he could be out for quite a while.

"I have seen it again. He wanted to kick the ball out and he twisted his ankle. That made it a bad injury."

The news will be a blow for Arsenal, who will have hoped that Sagna would've been available for the crucial triple clash against Liverpool.
