Liverpool have reportedly received a boost with the fitness of Mohamed Salah and the attacker could return for the Premier League clash against Manchester United after the international break.
The Egypt international picked up an ankle concern during the Reds' 2-1 win over Leicester City on Saturday after a late challenge from midfielder Hamza Choudhury.
After the game, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was far from pleased with the tackle and urged the midfielder to adapt his game such that he does not put opposition players at risk.
According to The Mirror, Salah has not suffered a serious injury as a result of the challenge and the Reds are hopeful that he will return to the mix ahead of the Manchester United clash in a fortnight's time.
Liverpool have made a stunning beginning to the current campaign and they have registered the perfect tally of 24 points after the opening eight games of the league season.
Klopp's side are already eight points ahead of second-placed Manchester City in the standings and they are now genuine favourites to secure a maiden Premier League title this term.
