Crystal Palace will reportedly come up with a renewed approach to sign Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Belgium international spent the second half of the previous season on loan with the Eagles and he was a success with six goals from 11 appearances.
Despite this, the south London outfit decided against pursuing him on a permanent basis during the summer after they were put off by the Blues' £40m valuation.
According to The Mail, the Eagles are eager to reinforce the attacking department at the turn of the year and they are likely to make a fresh move for Batshuayi.
The Blues are presently under a transfer ban until June 2020 but there are reports suggesting that they could win their appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport by January.
In this case, they will be permitted to register new signings and the Eagles will be hoping to propose another temporary move with the option for a permanent purchase next summer.
Batshuayi has largely played as the back-up striker in the league with Tammy Abraham leading the line. He has still managed to contribute three goals across all competitions.
