Paul Pogba is reportedly set to miss Manchester United's league clash against Liverpool on October 20 as he has yet to fully recover from a foot injury.
The Frenchman initially returned from the injury setback to feature in a couple of games against Rochdale and Arsenal last month but it appears that he has suffered a recurrence of the problem.
According to The Mail, United are likely to be without Pogba for the crunch Premier League meeting against Jurgen Klopp's side with the medical staff stating that he needs more time to recover.
Apart from Pogba, the likes of Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof are among the other high-profile players absent at the moment.
Wan-Bissaka and Lindelof seem certain to make their comebacks against Liverpool but there are still doubts surrounding Shaw and Martial, given they will be lacking match fitness after more than six weeks out.
Manchester United are presently in the bottom end of the league standings with just nine points from eight games. They are just two points ahead of the relegation places.
