Inter Milan are reportedly looking at the prospect of signing midfielder Nemanja Matic from Manchester United when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The 31-year-old has struggled for gametime in the Premier League this season and he has managed just three appearances from the eight matches played.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are looking into a deal for the Serbia international, who has previously worked with Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
Matic's current contract is scheduled to expire at the end of the season and it is claimed that the Nerazzurri will propose to land him on a cut-price deal during the winter transfer window.
Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku have already made the move to the Nerazzurri from United this season but the former has only joined on a season-long loan without the option to buy.
Lukaku has already made a good impression at the San Siro outfit with three goals from eight games and the same goes for Sanchez, who has bagged one goal and an assist from four outings.
