Manchester United to agree Gareth Bale-Paul Pogba swap?

United to be offered Bale by Real Madrid in Pogba deal

Manchester United to agree Gareth Bale-Paul Pogba swap?

17 November 2019 - 15:36

Manchester United will reportedly look to secure the services of Gareth Bale in January in a deal which could see Paul Pogba make the move to Real Madrid.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The Wales international was heavily tipped to join Chinese side Jiangsu Suning during the summer but the deal failed through at the final hurdle without any notable reasons.

Still, Bale has been touted to leave the Bernabeu sooner rather than later and The Sun claims that could happen as early as January with the Red Devils keen on signing him.

The same publication states that Los Blancos are eager to recruit Pogba from United and they are likely to propose a part-exchange deal in the New Year with Bale acting as the makeweight.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane remains a keen admirer of Pogba from his Juventus days and reports have previously indicated that the 47-year-old was disappointed with the club's inability to secure the midfielder's services over the summer.
