Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has said that he is not surprised by the Blues' 1-0 Premier League defeat to West Ham United and hopefully, the club can learn from their recent setbacks.
The Blues went into the November international break in a fine run of form after winning six Premier League matches on the trot.
However, the west London giants have not been able to replicate the form following the interval and they have now failed to win their past three games in all competitions.
Speaking in a press conference, Lampard said that his team could have handled the game better against West Ham and he has not been surprised by the outcome of the derby.
He added that the Blues can learn from their mistakes and hopefully, they can build up fresh momentum ahead of the congested festive schedule next month.
"Generally, collectively we could have handled that game better. This isn’t the worst thing for us as long as we react in the right way," he told via Football.London.
"There will be moments like this. We weren’t going to be Invincibles, we have to pass little tests. We can do more going forward."
Chelsea are placed fourth on the table with 26 points but their advantage for the final Champions League spot could be reduced to just four points, if Wolves are victorious on Sunday.
