Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has pulled out of contract talks with the club amid their struggles in the Premier League this campaign.
The north London side were anticipated to compete for the top four after the summer signings but that has clearly not been the case and they are currently much closer to the drop zone than the Champions League places.
According to The Mirror, Aubameyang has decided to pull out of contract negotiations with the club and he is keen to pursue another club where he has the assurance of Champions League football and chance to win trophies.
Aubameyang's current deal is scheduled to expire at the end of next season and the Gunners board could be forced to sanction his sale next summer or they would risk the prospect of losing him for nothing.
Aubameyang has been by far the standout performer for the Gunners in the attacking department and he has already netted 12 goals across all competitions for the side.
