Manchester City are reportedly confident of beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The youngster left the Cityzens for Dortmund in the summer of 2017 after manager Pep Guardiola failed to guarantee him playing time with the first-team.
Sancho has since made excellent progress with the Bundesliga outfit and he is now regarded as one of the most sought-after forwards in European football.
Of late, Frank Lampard's side have been fancied to make a club-record bid for the teenager but The Sun claims that the Cityzens are confident of securing a reunion with their former graduate.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has clearly stated that the club won't entertain any mid-season deals for the attacker and the Premier League champions will have to wait until the summer to make a proposal.
Sancho has amassed a stunning tally of 25 goals and 35 assists in just 77 appearances for Dortmund. The England international is currently valued in excess of £100m.
