Aubameyang eyes Arsenal transfer exit

20 December 2019 - 09:00

The Independent is reporting that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is seeking a transfer move away from Arsenal in the January transfer window, with the Gunners' captain's heart set on a move to Spain. The Gabonese international has been constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid in a 40 million euro transfer deal.

  • Chelsea quoted price to sign Igor Thiago
  • Chelsea make Joao Pedro transfer decision

  • The former AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund star has been excellent since making the move to the Emirates, but disappointing form at the club and with no new contract forthcoming for the striker, Aubameyang is now ready to leave the club for pastures new.

It is also understood that Aubameyang is not happy at Arsenal's incoming new appointment Mikel Arteta, hoping instead for a more experienced manager to be brought to the North London side.

Although Aubameyang is rumoured to be willing to talk to the club regarding a new contract, it is understood Arsenal are only willing to offer a two year extension to his deal, some way off of the four years Aubemeyang is seeking from the Premier League outfit.
