  • The 21-year-old has amassed eight goals and seven assists for Dinamo this term and his form has caught the eye of elite European clubs.

Barcelona have been deemed to be keen on re-signing their former graduate but Sport claims that the Blues have made the first approach to land the Spaniard.

Olmo spent seven years with the Blaugrana prior to his move to Dinamo in 2014 and he has since impressed with 34 goals and 28 assists from 124 appearances for the club.

Chelsea are on the hunt for a new attacking player after their transfer ban was recently lifted and Olmo is one of the top names on their radar for the current month.

The west London giants are also keen on pursuing Moussa Dembele from Lyon but they have supposedly failed with an opening bid for the former Celtic man.
