Manchester United have reportedly lowered their asking price for midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of his possible departure at the end of the campaign.

  • The Frenchman was fancied to leave the Red Devils last summer after he declared that he wanted a new challenge away from Old Trafford.

That did not necessarily happen with the Red Devils firm on their not-for-sale stance but this has not ceased the speculation over his future.

According to The Sun, the club are seriously considering the midfielder's sale next summer and they could accept a reduced fee of around £100m.

Pogba has barely played for the Red Devils this term due to a nagging ankle problem and he is now expected to be on the sidelines until February.

He recently returned to first-team action for the club but Solskjaer has confirmed that the Frenchman will undergo a surgery under recommendation of his entourage.

Aside from Pogba, Scott McTominay is also in the treatment room at the present point of time and United find themselves short of options in the centre of the park.
