Manchester United graduate close to Juventus deal?

07 January 2020 - 19:32

Juventus have reportedly made contact with Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong regarding a possible pre-contract agreement ahead of a summer move.

  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?
  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?

  • The Dutchman has made just seven appearances in all competitions for the club this season, out of which only four have come from the starting lineup.

According to The Sun, the Bianconeri have made contact with the United graduate through his agent, given he has entered the final six months of his deal.

The same outlet claims that the Serie A holders are prepared to negotiate a pre-contract with the teenager and they are prepared to offer him with a £35,000-a-week salary alongside a £2m signing-on bonus.

Aside from Chong, Angel Gomes has also been linked with a probable departure from the Red Devils and there are reports stating that he could be offloaded for a bargain price this month.

Spanish giants Barcelona are leading the hunt to acquire his services and a mid-season exit could be on the cards with Solskjaer reluctant to consider the attacker for any first-team games.
