James Maddison makes January transfer decision

Maddison won't leave Leicester this month

James Maddison makes January transfer decision

08 January 2020 - 14:59

Leicester City midfielder James Maddison is prepared to wait until the summer before deciding on a possible move away from the King Power Stadium.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • The England international has been earmarked as one of the prime transfer targets for Manchester United but a mid-season deal appears unlikely.

According to Manchester Evening News, United are aware that the Foxes won't listen to any offers for the midfielder this month and they are willing to remain patient in the player's pursuit.

Similarly, Maddison seems in no hurry to part ways with the east Midlands outfit and he won't make an attempt to force through an exit before the January transfer deadline.

United are lacking creative midfield options within their first-team squad and they have recently been hampered with both Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay sidelined with injury concerns.

The Mancunian giants are presently on a three-match winless streak and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently stressed that there is no quick fix to the club's ongoing concerns.
